Reference

Specify a vehicle to be used as a reference satellite in a formation flying situation.

Syntax

Reference <SatObjectPath> SetRefSatellite <SatObjectPath>

Description

The Reference command allows you to specify a vehicle to be used as a reference vehicle in a formation flying situation with other satellites. In target/chase terminology, this is what is known as the 'target' satellite.

The Reference command is only available if you are licensed for STK Astrogator or STK SatPro.

Example

Set RefSat2 as the reference satellite for Satellite1:

Reference */Satellite/Satellite1 SetRefSatellite */Satellite/RefSat2

ReturnMessage

If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
