SetAttitude ClearData

Clear attitude data created using AddAttitude commands

Syntax

SetAttitude <ObjectPath> ClearData [{SegmentOptions}]

Description

The SetAttitude ClearData command, with no options, clears the attitude list of time periods and associated attitude coordinates so that you can enter new attitude data. It is especially useful when you have outdated attitude attached to a satellite or other vehicle and wish to provide updated data.

The SetAttitude ClearData command, with no options, clears data that was added using the following commands:

The SetAttitude ClearData command can also be used to remove Attitude segments that were added using the AddAttitude Profile and AddAttitude File commands. Use the {SegmentOptions} described in the table below to remove attitude segments.

{SegmentOptions} Description
AllProfiles Use the keyword AllProfiles, to remove all attitude profiles, except the first profile (see Note below).
Profile <ProfileName> <ProfileName> is the name of the attitude profile specified when adding the profile. Using the Profile <ProfileName> keyword combination will clear only the specified profile leaving all other previously specified attitude profiles.
AllFiles Use the keyword AllFiles, to remove all attitude file segments.

Note: Vehicles must have at least one attitude profile; therefore, the last attitude profile will remain when attitude profiles are cleared. If the attitude profile specified using Profile <ProfileName> is the only remaining profile, the command will Nack.

Example

To clear attitude data that was added to the Shuttle satellite:

SetAttitude */Satellite/Shuttle ClearData

To remove the MySpin profile from the attitude data associated with the Shuttle satellite in the current scenario:

SetAttitude */Satellite/attSat ClearData Profile MySpin

To remove all but the last attitude profile associated with Satellite1:

SetAttitude */Satellite/Satellite1 ClearData AllProfiles

ReturnMessage

If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
