Calculation Objects - Equinoctial Elements

Equinoctial Elements are a subset of Calculation Object components.

Syntax

Description

The Equinoctial Elements components are:

Component Description
Equinoctial h eccentricity * sin(ascending node right ascension + periapsis argument)
Equinoctial k eccentricity * cos(ascending node right ascension + periapsis argument)
Equinoctial p tan(inclination / 2) * sin(ascending node right ascension)
Equinoctial q tan(inclination / 2) * cos(ascending node right ascension)
Mean Longitude ascending node right ascension + periapsis argument + mean anomaly

The attributes for each component have the same names and value selections that appear in the Astrogator graphical user interface.
