Control the projection of a sensor in the 3D window
VO <ObjectPath> Projection {ProjectionOption}
The VO Projection command enables you to control the projection of a sensor's cone in 3D space.
{ProjectionOption} | Description |
---|---|
Intersection {All | None | Earth} | All displays the entire sensor projection. Earth displays only the portion of the sensor projection that intersects the Earth. None causes no projection to display. |
TargetDistance <Value> | If the Pointing type for the sensor is set to Targeted, specifies the targeting distance, or how far past the target a sensor is projected (typically, this field is set to zero). |
SpaceProjection <Value> | Specifies the length of the sensor's projection when it is not intersecting the Earth. |
UseExtensionDistance {On | Off} | If set to on, the maximum distance drawn along the sensor boundary is scaled to the targeting extension distance for targeting sensors or the space projection extension distance for non-targeting sensors. |
UseRangeConstraint {On | Off} | If set to on, sensor graphics display a dome-shaped cap on the end of the sensor projection. |
Inherit2DDistance {Yes | Extent | No} | Indicates how projection distances that
are computed based on 2D Graphics projection settings are displayed
in the 3D Graphics window.

To display only the portion of the Downlink's projection that intersects with the Earth:
VO */Satellite/ERS1/Sensor/Downlink Projection Intersection Earth
To display the Downlink's projection out to 30,000,000,000 m into space:
VO */Satellite/ERS1/Sensor/Downlink Projection SpaceProjection 30000000000.0
If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
