Satellite: SEET Particle Distribution Fluence: Debris Damage

Computes the fluence for debris particulates that cause damage.

Name Dimension Type Description
Mass MassUnit Real Number Mass of the satellite.
Log(Mass g) Unitless Real Number The base-10 logarithm of the mass value when expressed in grams.
Impact fluence Fluence Real Number The integrated flux over the requested time interval for the particle. The integration is performed using Simpson's rule using a step size based upon the specified step size, adjusted to insure that an even number of steps is taken (as is required for Simpson's rule to be used).
Impacts Unitless Real Number The number of impacts over the requested time interval, found by multiplying the cross sectional area by the impact fluence.
