Missile: SEET Magnetic Coordinates

Computes the vehicle's position and velocity in the requested coordinate system, as a function of time. Valid for vehicles whose central body is earth.

Name Description
Geomagnetic (MAG) The Z axis aligned with the magnetic north pole and the negative X axis constrained toward the Earth Fixed Z axis.
Geocentric Solar Magnetospheric (GSM) The X-axis aligned with the Earth-Sun line, and the Z-axis constrained toward the magnetic north pole.
Solar Magnetic (SM) The Z-axis aligned with the magnetic north pole, and the X-axis constrained toward the Earth-Sun line.
