SetCartographicWithColors Method (IAgStkGraphicsPointBatchPrimitive)
See Also  Example
CentralBody
The central body the positions are defined on.
Positions
An array containing the new positions for the point batch, provided in the order latitude, longitude, altitude.
Colors
An array containing the numeric representation of colors for the point batch. There must be one color for each position in positions. In .NET a Color should be translated to a number by calling its ToArgb method and casting the result as an unsigned integer.

Description

For convenience. Defines the positions and colors of points in a point batch using Cartographic positions. Longitude and latitude are in radians, and altitude is in meters. This is equivalent to converting each position in positions to Cartesian and calling Set.

Syntax

[Visual Basic .NET]
Public Sub SetCartographicWithColors( _
   ByVal CentralBody As String, _
   ByRef Positions As System.Array, _
   ByRef Colors As System.Array _
)

[C#]
public void SetCartographicWithColors(
string CentralBody,
ref System.Array Positions,
ref System.Array Colors
);

[Managed C++]
public: void SetCartographicWithColors(
String __gc ^ CentralBody,
System::Array ^^ Positions,
System::Array ^^ Colors
);

[Java]
public  setCartographicWithColors(
String CentralBody,
Object[] Positions,
Object[] Colors
);

[Unmanaged C++]
public: HRESULT SetCartographicWithColors(
BSTR CentralBody,
SAFEARRAY ** Positions,
SAFEARRAY ** Colors
);

Parameters

Remarks

See Set for a full discussion.

Example

Shows the format of the Positions, Colors and Indices parameters when updating a point batch with cartographic positions.
[C#] Copy Code
Array positions = new object[]

    39.88, -75.250
    38.85, -77.040
    29.98, -90.250
    37.37, -121.920
};

Array colors = new object[]

    Color.Red.ToArgb(),
    Color.Green.ToArgb(),
    Color.Blue.ToArgb(),
    Color.White.ToArgb()
};

Array indices = new object[]

    0
    1
    2
    3
};

pointBatch.SetPartialCartographicWithColorsIndicesOrderAndRenderPass(
    "Earth"
    ref positions,
    ref colors,
    ref indices,
    AgEStkGraphicsIndicesOrderHint.eStkGraphicsIndicesOrderHintSortedAscending,
    AgEStkGraphicsRenderPassHint.eStkGraphicsRenderPassHintOpaque);
