Performance Models

Performance models are used to define the desired flight parameters of the aircraft. By specifying different performance models to use with each phase of flight (climb, cruise, descent, etc), you can vary the manner in which the aircraft performs.

The functionality described in this topic requires a license for the Aircraft Propagation Library.

Available Performance Models

The following performance models are currently available for defining the motion of the aircraft during its various phases of flight.

Performance Model

Description

SimpleAccelerationPerformanceModel

Defines a simple performance model for an aircraft during acceleration.

SimpleClimbPerformanceModel

Defines a simple performance model for an aircraft during climb.

SimpleCruisePerformanceModel

Defines a simple performance model for an aircraft during cruise.

BandedCruisePerformanceModel

Defines a performance model for an aircraft during cruise which changes linearly between altitude bands.

SimpleDescentPerformanceModel

Defines a simple performance model for an aircraft during descent.
