Export Accesses as Text

Several tools are available to the coverage definition object () that will assist you in computing, reloading, clearing, and exporting access calculations. You can export all computed accesses to an ASCII text file, with a .cvaa extension, using Export Accesses as Text tool.

To open the Compute Access tool, highlight the coverage definition object in the Object Browser and select Export Accesses as Text from the CoverageDefinition menu.

The resulting file can then be imported into other programs. The file contains information about the epoch, number of assets, name and identifier for each asset, number of regions, name and identifier for each region, and number of points in that region. For each grid point, geodetic position in radians are specified along with access information, including the number of accesses for each point, the identifier for each object accessed and the start and stop times in epoch seconds for each period of access.
