Volumetric Analysis involves evaluation of spatial conditions and calculations across a number of grid points. These grid points can be generated in Cartesian or various curvilinear coordinates and fixed in any coordinate system available in the Vector Geometry tool.
This analysis is configured in the Volumetric object, which also includes various 3D Graphics options such as display of grid points, and color and translucency of volumetric data. In addition to displaying the Volumetric object in the 3D Graphics window, you can also create textual reports ranging from overall grid statistics to values associated with an individual grid point.
