Delta-V Integrated Along Path
There are five calculation objects for integrated Delta-V: Delta-V, Inertial Delta-V Magnitude, Inertial Delta-Vx, Inertial Delta-Vy, and Inertial Delta-Vz.
Delta-V
The Delta-V calculation object is the scalar V integrated along the path of a spacecraft:
Thus, we are using the scalar acceleration athrust, where:
This integration occurs simultaneously with the orbit integration during a maneuver.
Inertial Delta-V
The Inertial Delta-V calculation objects represent the magnitude and the x, y, and z components of an inertial Delta-V vector. The vector for this calculation object is the integral of the thrust acceleration vector, expressed in the inertial frame of the propagator's central body:
While this vector can be output in another axes, doing so only rotates the final vector. It does not change the frame that the integration is performed in.
