Keyboard Shortcuts
The following table contains a complete list of keyboard shortcuts that can be used in STK.
In the following table, a comma between key names indicates that the keys are pressed sequentially, and a plus indicates that the keys must be pressed simultaneously (or the first key must be held down until the second key is pressed). The keyboard shortcuts are not case-sensitive.
Some Alt + letter key combinations have Ctrl + letter key options or Alt + function key options (F1, F2, etc.) that enable you to perform the selected action more quickly. These options are shown in boldface below, together with the standard Alt + letter key combinations.
Key Combination | Action |

Alt, F | Opens the File menu. |
Alt, F, N | Creates a new scenario. |

Alt, F, C Ctrl + Q |
Closes the current scenario. |

Saves the current scenario. If the current scenario was not previously saved, this key combination opens a Save As dialog that lets you specify the location and name of the file to be saved. |

For example, if you select a Satellite in the Object Browser, and if the pasted object is a Sensor, the Sensor becomes a subobject of the Satellite. Otherwise, the pasted object is inserted as a subobject of the next higher object in the hierarchy that is eligible to be its parent. For example, if you select a Satellite in the Object Browser, and if the pasted object is a Facility, the Facility becomes a subobject of the scenario. |
