The Event Manager is a list of all triggered alerts in the system. It consists of User-Defined Events created using the Display Manager as well as events that are generated directly from a data source. The event Time, Code, Source, Entity, and Description are shown in the grid. The display of grid columns can be customized by right-clicking a column header and selecting the desired columns from the drop-down menu that appears. You can sort the order of the events that are displayed by clicking the desired column header to reorder the list, and clicking or double-clicking the header to select between ascending or descending order.
To view detailed information about an event or take an action with it, you can right-click it in the list and select from the following menu commands:
- Event Details - Display the event description and the IDs of the entities that triggered the event.
- Entity Properties - Launch the Get Info Tool and view the properties of the entities that triggered the event.
- Zoom To Entities - Set the view in the 3D Graphics window to be zoomed in on the extents of the entities that triggered the event.
- Dismiss Event - Clear the event out of the Event Manager.
