STK Data Federate

STK Data Federate (SDF) is a data management system that enables your engineers to share, collaborate on, and reuse your STK data across your teams and organizations. SDF provides a central data repository that you can access seamlessly from within STK through standard file loading and saving operations and provides STK with the capability of searching within and managing the data stored there.

Connecting to an SDF

STK is configured to connect to AGI's Data Federate Server by default. You can define new SDF connections and manage them on the Data Services page of the Edit > Preferences window.

Accessing and storing user-created scenarios

You can access and store scenarios that you create on the public SDF 3.0 using your agi.com user account. If you do not have an agi.com account, go to https://analyticalgraphics.my.site.com/identity/s/login/ and click CREATE NEW ACCOUNT.

Revisions

You can manage files that are stored in an SDF server using revisions, a method for tracking the changes made to a file each time that it is saved. A revision is a numbered copy of the file that incorporates the changes from the previous revision that were saved in a single save operation.

The SDF server keeps a copy of each revision of the file, enabling you to load an earlier version of the file if the need arises.
