Sensor Resolution

The Resolution page enables you to define the resolution of the sensor in terms of focus and image quality.

To define an optical sensor's resolution, you must specify the focal constants: focal length and detector pitch. These constants are used in the computation of the Ground Sample Distance (GSD) for the sensor. The GSD is computed as:
