3D Graphics Properties for Sensors - Attributes

Use to control the display of a sensor in the 3D graphics window.

Show Boresight Marker. Displays a marker at the location where the boresight intersects the central body or terrain, depending on whether the central body or terrain is specified in the Show Intersections field on the 2D Graphics Projection page.

Lines

Show Radial Lines. The sensor displays with a series of solid lines extending from the vertex to the base of the sensor. If the sensor is pulsing, radial lines are not used.

Translucent Lines. The translucency of the lines are set to the translucency of the cone. If not selected, the sensor and radial lines are solid. This button has no effect on the sensor's intersection line on the central body if sensor Projection is set to All Intersections.

Persist Projected Lines in Space. Projected lines (not radial lines) will persist regardless of whether they intersect the Earth.

Persist Partial Central Body Intersection Lines. The intersection projection is persistent as long as one point in the projection intersects the central body. If disabled, all points in the projection must intersect the central body for the projection to be persistent.

Projection

%Translucency. Use the slide control to set the translucency of the sensor projection. Translucency can be adjusted from 0 to 100 percent, where 100 percent is completely invisible.

Interior

Fill. Displays the sensor's footprints as filled areas on the surface of the central body.

% Translucency. Use the slide control to set the translucency of the filled area of the sensor's footprint. Translucency can be adjusted from 0 to 100 percent, where 100 percent is completely invisible.
