View

View options allow you to define how objects will be treated when they obstruct the path of the viewer while zooming.

Stop at Object. If selected, the viewer does not pass through the object being viewed but stops at the object. If not selected, and you zoom to the point that you penetrate the surface of an object, you will appear to pass through the object and look back towards it.

Stop at Minimum Altitude. Defines how objects will be treated when they obstruct the path of the viewer in the 3D Graphics window while zooming or rotating. If selected, the viewer does not dip below the minimum altitude value specified. If the value is 0, the viewer will stop at the surface of the central body in the 3D Graphics window. If not selected, and you zoom or rotate to the point that you penetrate the surface of the central body, you will appear to pass through the central body and it will vanish behind you.

Prevent View Frustum Intersections. If selected, the viewer is prevented from positioning the camera at a point where the near plane of the view frustum intersects with the central body.

Hide Invalid View Messages. If selected, STK will no longer display a warning message in the 3D windows when the to/from objects or the references axes becomes invalid.

Image Set

Show only. Identifies the image set, if any, to be used when displaying the globe in the 3D window. Image sets are defined for individual globe files using the Globe Manager. Only image sets that have been defined for the globe file currently being displayed will be available.

Globe files are selected for display using the Globe Manager.
