Multi-Track Object - Tracks

The Multi-Track Object (MTO) is a graphical object used to display large amounts of time and positional data (tracks) in the 2D and 3D Graphics windows. The Tracks page is used to add, modify, and remove Tracks in a Multi-Track Object.

The Track Table

The Track table lists the tracks created in the object, and gives basic information about each. To modify the fields in this table, click Modify... to launch the Modify Track Data dialog.

Field Description
Id Displays the ID number assigned to the track. This field is auto-populated in numeric sequential order, and cannot be modified.
Start Time Displays the time for the first point of a track.
Stop Time Displays the time for the last point of a track.
Interpolate Indicates whether the track's position will be linearly interpolated between points, or will only be displayed at the defined points at the defined times.
Name Displays the user-defined name of the track.

Working with Tracks

The Tracks page includes a number of buttons and fields for working with tracks.

Option Description
New Click to add a new track to the Track table.
Modify Click to launch the Modify Track Data dialog and define the selected track. If all tracks are selected, you can only define the Name and Interpolation fields.
Delete Click to delete the selected track.
Select All Click to select all tracks in the Track table.
Deselect All Click to clear all tracks in the Track table.

Other Information

Field Description
Save Track Data Enable to save the tracks you define with the scenario. If disabled, the Multi-Track Object will be saved with the scenario, but all track data will be discarded.
Computation Track Id Enter the Id of the track to be referenced for working with other tools, such as setting the View To/From in the 3D Graphics window.
Number of Tracks Displays the number of tracks in the Tracks table.
