STK Objects in Access
Generally, STK objects that model physical objects or that are attached as children of physical objects may participate in access calculations. These objects (usually) have a position and attitude defined over some time interval of interest. The STK objects that you can use in Access are the following:
- Ground locations
- Vehicles
- Sensor
- Communication objects
- Radar
- Planets
- Planets model position but not attitude.
- Stars
- Stars model direction in space rather than a location in space.
- Area Target
- Area Targets model the entire area within its boundary.
- Attitude is not defined for Area Targets.
- Line Target
- Line Targets model the entire length of its segment(s).
- Attitude is not defined for Line Targets.
Computational tools like Coverage, Chains, and Attitude Coverage do not participate in Access but instead use Access as part of those tools' computational processing.
