2D Graphics Attributes for Time Components

Select the Time Components option to control graphics during selected time intervals defined by time components. The specification of time components affects only the graphical display of the object; it does not affect access computations.

Add, modify, and remove custom time intervals

Click Add... to choose a time component for graphics display purposes. The Select Time Component dialog box will appear. Select from the available time components or create new time components. For more information on the options available for Time Components, see the Time Components Help page. Click OK or Apply to add the selected time component to the list.

To modify the graphics attributes for an existing time component, edit the settings displayed in the list for each time component. Click More... to expose additional attributes.

To remove a component from the list, select it and click Remove.

To remove all components from the list, click Remove All.

Customize intervals

Select Customize Intervals to modify the specific intervals of the time component. Selecting this option will open the Custom Intervals screen and display the selected component's interval times in the custom intervals list.

Show Flag Affects Individual Intervals Only

If you select the Show Flag Affects Individual Intervals Only check box, and you have multiple intervals and one of them has Show disabled, there will be a gap in the flight path/orbit/track where that interval is located. If you animate through that gap, graphics for the other intervals will still appear.

If you clear this check box, and you have multiple intervals and one of them has Show disabled, the graphics will now appear for that interval (no gap), but when you animate through that interval, the entire flight path/orbit/track disappears.

Label

If you select the Use Instance Name as Label check box, then STK will apply the Object Browser name as a label for the object in the 2D Graphics window. If you clear the check box, you can assign any name as a 2D Graphics label.
