Set radio frequency interference options for facilities, ships, aircraft and ground vehicles
RFI <ObjectPath> {RFIOption} <Parameters>
The RFI command allows you to set radio frequency interference options for analysis purposes. {RFIOption} and <Parameters> can be:
{RFIOption} <Parameters> | Description |
---|---|
TargetObject <TruncObjectPath> | Specify the Target Object. The TargetObject must be a Satellite or Missile. |
CenterFrequency <Value> | The CenterFrequency is entered in frequency units set at the scenario level. The value must be greater or equal to 0. |
Bandwidth <Value> | The Bandwidth is entered in frequency units set at the scenario level. The value must be greater or equal to 0. |
ExclusionHalfAngle <Value> | The Exclusion Half Angle is entered in degrees, and is between -90.0 and 90.0. |
Transmit <EIRPValue> | The Transmit EIRP value is entered in dBW. |
Receive <PowerValue> | The Receive Power value is entered in dBW. |
StartStop {TimeInterval} | Enter times that are within the target
object's time period.
For valid {TimeInterval} values see Time Options. |
Database "<FilePath>" | Specify the Secondary TLE Database. |
RFIDatabase "<FilePath>" | Specify the Radio Frequency Interference Database which contains data on comm assets (receivers and transmitters) attached to satellites with given SSC numbers. |
AddVictims {On | Off} [<NumberToAdd>] | Specify whether to add potential victims to the Scenario, and optionally, how many to add. |
Compute | Compute the radio frequency interference (use the Report and Graph commands to view results). |
To set the center frequency of the Santiago ground station to 123.0 GHz:
RFI */Facility/Santiago CenterFrequency 12.3
To set radio frequency interference options for the Santiago ground station:
RFI */Facility/Santiago ExclusionHalfAngle 33.0 TargetObject Satellite/Satellite2 Transmit 123.4
If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
