Set outage values for rain models (Deprecated Command)

Syntax

Radar <RdrObjectPath> RainModel {State} [<Outage>]

Description

Note: This command was deprecated in STK 10.1, it should no longer be used. This command has been replaced by the Radar command.

The Radar Connect commands were enhanced in STK 10.1 to make use of attributes and to simplify the format required to use these commands. For more information on using the new format see Transitioning to the New Radar Format.

The Radar RainModel command allows you to set the outage for a rain model. {State} can be On or Off. If On, specify the <Outage> value for the model. Valid values for <Outage> depend on the {ModelType} set using the Environment command.

Valid values for <Outage> are:

Warning: To set the rain model options for radars, you must first set the rain model option On using the Environment command. If the model isn't set to On before you set the <Outage>, Connect will return a NACK message.

Example

To use the ITU618-7 rain model in calculations for the current scenario:

Environment * RainModel On ITU_P618_7 78.6

To set the ITU618-7 rain model with an outage of 0.3 for TestRadar:

Radar */Satellite/ERS1/Radar/TestRadar RainModel On 0.03

ReturnMessage

If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
