Radar SAR

Set the radar properties of a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) (Deprecated Command)

Syntax

Radar <RdrObjectPath> SAR {SARProps} [<Value>]

ATTENTION: THIS COMMAND IS DEPRECATED and has been replaced by:

Radar

Description

Note: This command was deprecated in STK 10.1, it should no longer be used. This command has been replaced by the Radar command.

The Radar Connect commands were enhanced in STK 10.1 to make use of attributes and to simplify the format required to use these commands. For more information on using the new format see Transitioning to the New Radar Format.

The Radar SAR command sets the values for SAR mode. SAR achieves high-resolution in the cross-resolution dimension by taking advantage of the motion of the vehicle carrying the radar to synthesize the effect of a large antenna aperture.

Note: SAR mode is available only for radars mounted on Aircraft, Missiles, LaunchVehicles or Satellites.

{SARProps} can be:

{SARProps} <Value>
Off N/A
On
FixedAziRes <Distance>
UnambRange
RangeRes
SceneDepth
PulseRep <Frequency>
Bandwidth
IFBandwidth
AziBroad <UnitlessValue>
RangeBroad
PulseComp
FixedIntTime <Time>
NoiseRatio <dB>
PulseWidth <SmallTime>
ChirpRate <Hz/sec>

If {SARPRops} is Off, SAR mode is disabled. If {SARPRops} is any other valid value, SAR mode is enabled.

Example

To set the SAR mode On and the fixed azimuth resolution of the TestRadar to 0.01:

Radar */Satellite/GEO/Radar/TestRadar SAR FixedAziRes 0.01

ReturnMessage

If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
