SEET Graphics (Scenario)

Specify SEET magnetic field graphics options.

Description

The following table describes the options available for setting magnetic field graphics parameters.

{GfxOptions} Description
Show {On | Off} Specify whether magnetic field graphics should be displayed.
ColorBy {Magnitude | Latitude} Specify Magnitude to have colors assigned based upon the magnetic field strength; specify Latitude to have colors assigned based upon the latitude of the footprint of the field lines.
ColorScale {Linear | Log} Specify Linear for colors assigned based upon a linear color ramp of the value; Specify Log (only available when coloring by magnitude) for colors assigned based upon a linear color ramp using the logarithm of the values.
ColorRampStart {Color} Specify the ramp start color. For valid {Color} options see Common Options.
ColorRampStop {Color} Specify the ramp stop color. For valid {Color} options see Common Options.
MaxTranslucency <Value> Specify the maximum translucency. <Value> is a number between 0 and 100.
LineWidth <Width> Indicate a pixel width value between 1.0 and 10.0
Style {LineStyle} For valid {LineStyle} options see Common Options.
FieldLineRefresh <Value> Specify the number of seconds between times that the magnetic field will be recomputed.
NumFieldLines <Value> Specify the number of field lines to draw per longitude.
NumLongitudes <Value> Specify the number of longitudes to consider.
StartLat <Value> Specify the latitude (in degrees) of the footprint of the first field line to draw.
StopLat <Value> Specify the latitude (in degrees) of the footprint of the last field line to draw.
RefLongitude <Value> Specify the first longitude to draw. <Value> is specified in degrees.

Longitude is measured from the negative X-axis of the Solar Magnetic coordinate system. Thus, 180 deg corresponds to a magnetic local time of 12:00 noon, where this longitude lies on the lit side if the Earth-Sun line.

FieldLineMode {Dipole | FullField} Specify the method for producing field lines.
MainField {CenteredDipole | FastIGRF | IGRF} Specify the main field model for the geomagnetic field.
ExternalField {None | OlsonPfitzer} Specify the external field model for the geomagnetic field.
IGRF_UpdateRate <Value> Specify the number of seconds between times when the IGRF model will Recompute its time-dependent coefficients.

Example

To set graphics options for the Scenario:

SEET * Graphics MagField Show On ColorBy Magnitude LineWidth 5.0

ReturnMessage

If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
