Mission Control Sequence

The Mission Control Sequence (MCS) is the core of your space mission scenario. The MCS functions as a graphical programming language, in which mission segments dictate how Astrogator will calculate the trajectory of the spacecraft, with respect to the general settings that you specify for the MCS itself.

If Astrogator appears dimmed in the propagator drop-down list box then the Astrogator license is required. Find out more on the licensing help page.

The MCS is represented schematically by a tree structure appearing in the left pane of the Orbit page of the satellite's basic properties, and can be modified using the MCS toolbar or drop-down menus that appear when right-clicking within the MCS Tree.

The MCS Toolbar

The MCS toolbar contains buttons that allow you to define the MCS and perform related operations. The following table identifies each of the buttons on the toolbar; click the name of a button to be redirected to help about its function.
