Globe Manager - ArcGIS Window

The ArcEngine License Expiration dialog may pop-up when running STK. STK has no control over this dialog since it is coming from the Esri software. To prevent it from displaying, you can set the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ESRI\License TimeOutWarning key to FALSE.
If the Globe Manager Toolbar is inactive, click in the 3D Graphics Window to make it active.

The ArcGIS window displays the table of contents for Esri^® ArcGIS^® data files (.MXD, .LYR, .PMF, and .MXT) allowing you to incorporate GIS information into your scenario and manage its display in the 3D Graphics window. Manage Map Documents

Right clicking on the empty ArcGIS window will display a drop-down menu. Select Open map document... to add a map file.

The table of contents of the opened map displays in the ArcGIS window. Map items can be displayed or hidden by toggling the checkbox next to each item. When the checkbox is selected, the item will display on the globe in the 3D Graphics window. When the checkbox is cleared the item will not display. Switch between the plus and minus sign icons to display or hide the hierarchy of map items in the ArcGIS window.

Right-clicking an item in the ArcGIS window will display a drop-down menu. Select Zoom To to display the item in the 3D Graphics window. Select Close map document to remove the map from the 3D Graphics window.

	Opens the Get Info tool.
	Opens the STK Help System.

Right-clicking the tree list area of the ArcGIS window will display a drop-down menu that includes the items mentioned above and the following menu items:

Drape on surface - Render the map document as a texture and display it with filled polygons over terrain.
Hide Toolbar - Show/Hide the ArcGIS toolbar.
Help - Open Globe Manager Help.

Zoom To

The Zoom To button is used to move to a specific ArcGIS item. Right-click the item in Globe Manager and select Zoom To from the drop down menu, or select the item and then select Zoom To ().

Open/Close Map Document

When Open Map Document () is selected, an open file window appears and you can select the desired map document and click Open to display the map in the 3D Graphics window. The Open Map Document button becomes grayed out while the map is in the process of loading. Once a map is loaded, Close Map Document () is displayed in the toolbar. Select Close Map Document to remove the map from your scenario. Globe Manager supports .MXD, .LYR, .PMF, and .MXT map file formats.

ArcGIS Data Refresh

In the ArcGIS tab, select Refresh ArcGIS Data () to allow the updating of GIS data during animation of the scenario. When Update GIS Data is selected, Do Not Refresh ArcGIS Data () button will appear on the toolbar. Select Do Not Refresh ArcGIS Data to disable the updating of GIS data during animation of the scenario. Updating ArcGIS data is Globe Manager's default state.
