Globe Manager Overview
Globe Manager allows you to customize scenario globes with imagery and terrain data as well as manage that data once it has been applied. Using Globe Manager you can apply world background textures (.jp2), image inlays (.pdttx, .jp2), terrain inlays (.pdtt), specular textures (.jp2), night light textures (.jp2), and gis annotations or images (.kml) to globes and manage how and when these items are displayed.
You can use Globe Manager to access imagery and terrain data items from local drives and external sources, such as Microsoft Bing™ Maps. You can organize imagery and terrain items into sets and turn on and off the display of individual imagery and terrain items or sets of items.
You can integrate ArcGIS map document files into STK analyses. You can use this extension to incorporate geospatial data into your mission analysis and easily manage terrain, imagery and geospatial layers.
Globe Manager Contents
Each 3D Graphics window has its own list of contents that can be edited independently. Globe contents can be saved out of Globe Manager to STK's .glb file format. These .glb files can be shared with other users who can import them via Globe Manager.
Globe Manager Toolbar
The Globe Manager Toolbar is displayed by default. If the Globe Manager Toolbar is not visible, select Toolbars->GlobeManager from the View menu. This will display the Globe Manager toolbar.
