The Volumetric Object
The Volumetric object defines a 3-dimensional grid of points using various coordinate definitions, with respect to various reference coordinate systems from the Vector Geometry tool. It also defines the conditions and calculations that depend on locations in 3D space, and evaluates these conditions and calculations across grid points. Select one or more of the following to define the Volumetric object:
Basic Properties
Property |
Description |
Definition
|
Define the volumetric object by specifying a grid and spatial calculation or loading a grid and computed data |
Interval
|
Specify the time period over which the spatial calculation is computed. |
Advanced
|
Adjust the manner in which volumetric information is stored and computed. These properties can be used for large volumetric analysis problems where computations are time-consuming and much memory would be needed to store data. |
Description
|
Record miscellaneous information about the Volumetric Object and its role in your analytical or operational task. |
