Model Transformations

Transformations statically define the position and orientation of a component or primitive, such as the location of an antenna on the body of a satellite.

Transformations do not change the way an STK object is defined or affect access or other calculations between objects being modeled. You can use them to visually resolve anomalies or to provide realistic motion in the models for animation.

You can apply transformations to do the following:

The best way to understand how transformations work is to experiment with them using the STK Model Viewer.
