File Format. File format used when saving a frame to a file. The disk space required is the minimum necessary for uncompressed files such as bitmaps or TIFs. Actual disk space requirements may vary depending on the way in which your PC allocates bits. PNG files are compressed and, therefore, are smaller in size.

Resolution

The Resolution option does not affect any text that may appear in the 3D window, including Data Display text.

Normal/High. STK uses a default Resolution of Normal for saving 3D frames. Keep the Normal Resolution setting for print and presentation purposes. To create a high-resolution poster image, change the default Resolution setting from Normal to High and enter the values for the printer's capacity in terms of dots per inch (DPI) as well as the width you wish the image to be when saved. STK then takes these two values and calculates the Height and the Disk Space Required (both displayed below the Image Width field). If the Disk Space Required is greater than actual disk space available, STK will be unable to save the image.

Printer DPI. Specifies the printer's capacity in terms of dots per inch (DPI).

Image Width. Specifies the width of the image to be saved.
