Scheduling Times Definition

STK Scheduler uses three different definitions to determine when a task may be scheduled.

These include:

  • Availability windows of each required resource
  • Scheduling Times of the task
  • STK Object to STK object access items (if applicable).

The overlap of these three time definition define the task's timeslots.

The scheduling times give you the ability to define a task dependent temporal constraint that is independent of the availability times of required resources, STK object-to-object access times, and scheduling times of any other task. STK Scheduler will only attempt to assign tasks within its scheduling window time window(s).

It is not necessary to define any scheduling times. In the absence of scheduling times, STK Schedule will use only the availability times of each required resource and the STK-object-to-object access times (if applicable) to determine the task's timeslots.

Scheduling times are defined on the Scheduling Tab of the Task Definition Form.
