Schedule Files

Scheduling problems are defined and solved in Astro Scheduler Engine schedule files. Each schedule file, designated by a user-defined name followed by the .ssc file extension, contains all of the resource, tasks, and scenario attributes necessary to define a single scheduling problem.

Schedules may be saved and recalled for future use or modification. While running Astro Scheduler Engine, multiple schedule files may be opened simultaneously; however, only one may be active at a time. To change the active schedule, select Window -> {scenario name} from the Astro Scheduler Engine Menu Bar.
