Define the display of an objects azimuth elevation mask in the 3D Graphics window
VO <ObjectPath> AzElMask [Type {Altitude | Range}] {DisplayOption} <Value> [{DisplayOption} <Value>...]
Note: Use the Graphics AzElMask command to display the azimuth-elevation mask in both 2D and 3D, then use this command to define its display in 3D.
The VO AzElMask command allows you to define the 3D display of an azimuth-elevation mask for an object by adjusting the translucency of the area covered by the mask and defining the lines that create the boundaries of the mask.
When setting the following {DisplayOption} the "Type {Altitude | Range}" must NOT be included in the command line, as these options are set for all AzEl Mask types.
{DisplayOption} | Description |
---|---|
ShowAltLabels {On | Off} | Turn On or Off the display of altitude labels around the exterior of the mask. |
NumAltLabels <NumLabels> | Indicate the number of altitude labels (4-50) that will display around the mask if ShowAltLable is On. |
AltLabelUnits {UnitType} | Indicate the units to use for
displaying altitude labels. Valid values for {UnitType} are:
|
AltLabelDecPlaces <Value> | Indicate the number of decimal places for the altitude labels, Valid value is an integer and must be between 0 and 14. The default value is 3. |
ShowCompassLabels {On | Off} | Turn On or Off the display of Compass labels around the exterior of the mask. |
LabelSwapDist {<Value> | All | ModelLabel | MarkerLabel | Marker | Point} | Set the distance at which the labels for an azel mask are visible. <Value> must be greater or equal to 0.0, or enter the component whose swap distance will be used for labels. |
The following options are set for either the Altitude or Range mask. When setting the following {DisplayOption} the "Type {Altitude | Range}" MUST be included in the command line.
{DisplayOption} | Description |
---|---|
Translucency <TranslucencyValue> | Sets the translucency of the interior portion (outer line to center of mask) of the mask. Translucency sets the amount of light to pass through an object but diffusing it so that objects aren't clearly visible. <TranslucencyValue> ranges from 0 (opaque) to 100 (completely transparent). |
LineTranslucency <TranslucencyValue> | Sets the translucency of the line defining the boundary of the mask. Translucency sets the amount of light to pass through an object but diffusing it so that objects aren't clearly visible. <TranslucencyValue> ranges from 0 (opaque) to 100 (completely transparent). |
LineWidth <WidthValue> | Specify the pixel width value of the lines defining the boundaries of the azimuth-elevation mask. Valid values are 1.0 to 10.0, where 1.0 is the thinnest line and 10.0 is the thickest. |
To set the azimuth elevation mask for Facility1 so that 8 altitude labels are displayed around the exterior of the mask:
VO */Facility/Facility1 AzElMask ShowAltLabels On NumAltLabels 8
To set the line width and translucency of the Range azimuth elevation mask for Facility1:
VO */Facility/Facility1 AzElMask Type Range Linewidth 5 Translucency 40
To specify the units and decimal places for azimuth elevation mask labels for Facility1:
VO */Facility/Facility1 AzElMask AltLabelUnits KM AltLabelDecPlaces 6
If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
