Data Explorer
The Data Explorer is a Trade Study tool used to display data collected from a Model. It supports Parametric Study, Carpet Plot, Design of Experiments (DOE), Optimization Tool, and Probabilistic Analysis Tool Trade Study tools.
While data is being collected in the Table, the Data Explorer window displays a progress meter, a halt button, and the data.
Plot Types
Some trade study tools will automatically launch a default plot window when the trade study runs. Other plots can be created from the Add View dropdown menu:

Toolbar
Once the trade study is complete and all data has been collected, the Data Explorer toolbar becomes active.
The toolbar buttons perform the following functions:
- Open Trade Study - Open a saved trade study file.
- Save Trade Study - Save the data and associated trade study tool setup information a trade study file.
- Add View - Create a new plot. See the "Plot Types" section above for a list and links to the individual plots.
- Finder - Open, hide, or delete an existing plot. See here for more information.
- Help - Brings up the Analyzer help page about the Data Explorer.
- Import Data - Open a previously-saved comma-separated (.csv) data file.
