Graphic Updates Feature

While working with STK Scheduler, the Gantt chart, histogram chart, and even the table view graphics are constantly being updated to provide you with the most current information. When working with large numbers of tasks and resources, the time it takes for STK Scheduler to keep the graphics constantly updated may begin to slow down the user. For this reason, there exists the ability to turn graphics updates on and off.

Turning Graphic Updates On and Off

Graphics Updates can be toggled on and off by selecting View -> Graphics Updates On from the STK Scheduler Menu Bar. When Graphic Updates are turned on, a checkbox will appear next to the menu item.

In addition to the method above, Graphic Updates can be turned back on either by selecting View -> Refresh from the Menu Bar or by clicking on the button on the Tool Bar.

Using STK Scheduler with Graphic Updates On

The default setting is to have graphic updates turned on. In this mode, you do not have to perform any operation to view the latest graphical information. It is done for you whenever a graphic object is changed.

Using STK Scheduler with Graphic Updates Off

When graphic updates are turned off, the graphics shown on the Graphical View and Table View disappear and will remain hidden until graphics updates are turned back on. While in this mode of operation, all non-graphical STK Scheduler functions can be manipulated via the Tool Bar and Menu Bar selections.
