Reload an external articulation file for facilities, places, targets and vehicles (any type)
VO <ObjectPath> ReloadArticFile
The VO ReloadArticFile command directs STK to reload the appropriate articulation file for an object's model. A model articulation file contains the information needed to animate the articulation commands contained in a model file. The model articulation file contains a time-ordered list of data about each articulation that can be applied to the associated object.
The <ObjectPath> must indicate an object in the scenario with an assigned model.
Articulation file names are identical to the name of the Object (not a model file), and have an object-specific extension:
Object | Extension |
---|---|
Aircraft | .acma |
Facility | .fma |
Ground Vehicle | .gvma |
Launch Vehicle | .lvma |
Missile | .mima |
Place | .plcma |
Satellite | .sama |
Ship | .shma |
Target | .tma |
Hint: For the articulation to appear in the 3D window, you may need to send an Animate command to step in time.
To reload the Shuttle's articulation file in the current scenario:
VO */Satellite/Shuttle ReloadArticFile
If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
