Description
The GetDescription command allows you to retrieve the short or long description attached to an object. {Type} can be Long or Short.
Examples
To retrieve the long description of the WhiteSands facility:
GetDescription */Facility/WhiteSands Long
Return message
If activated, Connect returns the description attached to the object:ACK GETDESCRIPTION 94 Site Name WhiteSands Network DLR Latitude 34.5 deg Longitude -105 deg Altitude 0 m
