Task Assignments

All of the tasks that have been successfully placed into a deconflicted schedule will receive a status of assigned. On the Resource List/Gantt Chart, the assigned tasks will have a green bar placed over on of the available timeslots. This bar indicates the time within the schedule that is reversed for this task. By holding the mouse pointer still over the green bar, a yellow box will appear giving the details of the assigned task including the name, start time, stop time, duration, and resource(s).

If an assigned task is locked, the task start time and duration may be changed by clicking and dragging the left-side, right-side, or middle of the green bar. To lock a task, select Task -> Lock/Override from the STK Scheduler Menu Bar.

In the Table View, assigned tasks will appear as having a green bar icon next to the task name. Columns indicating the start time, stop time, duration, and resource assignment(s) will become populated.

The Start Time, Stop Time, Duration ,and Assigned Resources columns for Periodic and Template Task Parent definitions contain NA once the scheduler deconfliction algorithm completes (See Task Types for more information on periodic and template tasks).

For tasks that allow handovers, the Start Time column will show the start time of the fist assignment, and the Stop Time column will show the stop time of the last assignment.

Detailed Information about how each task is used in the schedule can be found by editing a task and viewing the Status Tab of the Task Definition form. Likewise, detailed information about how each resource is used can be found on the Status Tab of the Resource Definition Form.
